Empire has created a striking look here, beautifully capturing the light gray bark of real birch with these ceramic fiber gas logs. The Empire Birch has also been stacked very naturally to best display the distinctive birch bark. Empire's ANSI-Certified Slope Glaze Burner is included with this set. The glaze inside the burner tube adds turbulence to the gas flow, which produces a realistic flicker in the flames. All controls have been placed for maximum concealment without sacrificing usefulness.

With internal ceramic beads forcing the gas to move around inside the burner tubes, the Empire Slope Glaze Burners create a more representative flame pattern, complete with dancing flames through and around the log stack. Because a Slope Glaze Burner is lower in the front and a bit higher in the back, your logs will stack nicely.
